The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), gubernatorial candidate, Alh. Shuaibu YAMAN Abdullahi has condoled with the family of Barrister Nuhu Lanre Daibu over the passing of his beloved wife, Justice Saffiyah Titi Daibu, who died on Monday. This is coming barely 24 hours after Ilorin Emirate lost a legal luminary, Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi on Sunday to the cold hands of death.
“I was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Justice Safiyah Titi Daibu, a distinguished legal luminary and trailblazer, who remained one of the most erudite Chief Justices and Chairman Judiciary Service Commission in Kwara State that ever sat on the State CJ bench”Yaman said.
“Today we mourn but with confidence that future generations will remember Justice Saffiyah Titi Daibu as we knew, a tireless and resolute champion of justice who has left remarkable imprints on the field of law.”
“The pain of the demise of late Justice Safiyah Titi Daibu will be felt by the body of bench in Kwara and as well as the country at large”
“I pray that the Almighty God will grant her immediate family, relatives, friends and many associates across the world the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
Yaman also urge, Barrister Nuru Lanre Daibu and the rest of the family of the deceased, to take solace in the “knowledge” that the departed justice was a patriot of the finest order who served her country with commitment, dedication, honesty and forthright in all her dealings.
