A frontline PDP aspirant for the Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulwahab Oladimeji Issa has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, Mai Martaba, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari on the beautiful occasion of his 82nd birthday.
Hon. Wahab, in a statement by his Press Secretary, joined sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirates and good people of Kwara State, the Muslim community and family members of the Emir in celebrating the unique anniversary.
The leading aspirant noted that the Emir has demonstrated uncommon leadership style, patriotism and wisdom in his consistent advocacy for security, peace and unity of Ilorin, Kwara and Nigeria at large.
He believed that the wise counsels and support of the royal father on issues of good governance greatly enriched his efforts to improve the livelihood of his constituents while serving in the National Assembly.
He, therefore, prayed Almighty Allah to grant the Emir good health and long life to continue in the service of humanity.

Your exemplary qualities and awesome leadership evident faith in the unity, peace, and prosperity of the Emirate, have combined to make you one of the most highly respected monarchs in Nigeria today.
You have endeared yourself to all Kwarans of goodwill, regardless of cultural, religious or political persuasions, owing to your relentless pursuit of peace and ethno-religious harmony among the diverse people of Kwara State.
As a spiritual leader and traditional ruler, you have over the years, distinguished yourself as an exemplary leader, traversing the length and breadth of the country, preaching peaceful co-existence and building bridges across religious and cultural divides.
I join your well-wishers and other well-meaning Ilorites, Kwarans and Nigerians in appreciating and commending your role in fostering mutual understanding, intra and inter-religious harmony as well as your humanitarian services across the country.
