The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has announced a free medical outreach for the people of his constituency.
This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), will kick off at Seriki Driver House, Ita-Adu, Gambari, in Ilorin East LGA at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 25th January 2025, and conclude at the court of Daudu Afon in Asa LGA on Sunday, 26th January 2025.
According to a statement by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, the two-day programme is part of the senator’s efforts to improve healthcare access for his constituents and to complement the commendable healthcare delivery initiatives of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
The medical outreach will offer a variety of healthcare services, including treatment for malaria, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, musculoskeletal pain, peptic ulcer disease, asthma, eye complaints, rheumatism, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, and respiratory tract infections.
It will also provide surgical treatment for conditions such as hernias, hydroceles, appendicitis, lipomas, breast lumps, and ganglions.
While reaffirming his commitment to initiatives that enhance the well-being of the people of Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Mustapha urged his constituents to turn out en masse to take advantage of the free medical services.
