He also expressed gratitude to the governors of North Central states, particularly the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for their political support in ensuring the bill’s success.
Mustapha acknowledged the pivotal role played by Senate President Godswill Akpabio in making the commission a reality.
He also congratulated his colleagues from the North Central geopolitical zone for their collective efforts in championing the bill through the legislative process.
“The establishment of the North Central Development Commission is a landmark achievement for our region. It will serve as a catalyst for development, addressing key challenges in infrastructure, security, and economic growth. I am confident that this commission will bring lasting benefits to our people,” Senator Mustapha stated.
