Far away from home, I never miss listening to our Radio stations thanks to the online medium, especially that popular live program #Eto’wa powered by Kwara Must Change (KMC) on Sobi FM every Saturday at 11am, the call-in program has gone a long way in political sensitization of the Kwara citizens. In times past, they exposed how Kwara collective patrimony was handled and till now they have not stop updating us on current sundry issues.
To my utmost dismay, i waited in vain as time passed by without airing the program. Report reaching me now is that the program has been cancelled by the Radio Station for non compliance to stipulated guidelines. However, as a frequent guest on the program I knew it is going to get to this stage some day but not sure how soon it would be; Our political atmosphere is more tensed now than ever before, with the hot outburst of emotions and reactions, the barrage of intra and inter party crisis and all.
My question begging for a holistic answer now is, of which interest is the discontinuation of the program; Former Government; Current Government or one of the camps in APC political divide?
