The Nigerian Youth Parliament,(Office of the Member representing Kwara Central Senatorial District,) has organized a JAMB scholarship program for indigene of Kwara Central Senatorial District.
The program, held at the Ilorin West Local Government CBT Center, Kuntu Area, Ilorin, was in honor of the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The scholarship was specifically designed for students from Ilorin West, East, South, and Asa Local Government Areas, who are seeking to further their education.
Hon. Hassan Muhammad Hawal, member representing the Nigerian Youth Parliament, said the distribution demonstrated its commitment to supporting the educational development of youths in Kwara State.
He said the scholarship program is a testament to the organization’s efforts to empower young people and promote academic excellence, while urging the beneficiary students to focus and excel in the exam.
The beneficiaries who spoke with our correspondent commended the gesture, stating that the initiative will alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with taking the JAMB examination and pursuing higher education.
