The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) National Headquarters demonstrated its commitment to supporting students with special needs by visiting the Kwara State School of Special Needs in Apata Yakuba, Ilorin, on Wednesday.
During the visit, NAKSS provided vital supplies, including food, educational materials, and school kits, to enhance the students’ learning experience. The association’s members also delivered motivational speeches and awareness-raising talks, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Comrade Abeeb Arewa, NAKSS President, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulraheem Abdurasaq, for his support and contributions, which played a crucial role in providing essential palliatives to the students. He also thanked the school administration for allowing NAKSS to visit and provide support.
This event marked the beginning of NAKSS’s ongoing commitment to assisting students, particularly those with special needs, ensuring their educational journey is filled with encouragement and equal opportunities.
