Mo’Brimah Foundation, a non governmental organization which has its focus areas aligned with some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nation and situated here in Ilorin held her annual 2nd Ramadan Lecture.
The annual Ramadan Lecture is deemed an Islamic spiritual sensitization program being organized and initiated by the Founder of Mo’Brimah Foundation Mohammed Brimah (Agt. GM KWASSIP).
Gust Speaker: Fadilat Sheikh Umar Farouq Suleiman Soheebul bayan
This year’s Ramadan Lecture came in another great dimension which saw the guest Lecturer being a highly reputable and renowned Islamic Scholar in person of Fadilat Sheikh Umar Farouq Suleiman popularly known as Soheebul Bayan. Sheikh Soheebul Bayan during his lecture laid emphasis on the need for humbleness and high self esteem within individuals especially the youths. He as well laid emphasis on the need for a closer relationship with the ever supreme being; Allah (SWT)
“Staying close to Allah and supplicating to him from time to time will open forth avenue of new blessings and graciousness into ones life” he added.
The program witnessed guests from diverse area of Kwara state which included Market women, women leaders, Students, and other high profile ranking persons amongst others.
Other dignitaries present at the program included, Alhaji Dan Maigoro (SA Religion to Kwara state Governor) who represented His Excellency Mal AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Governor of Kwara State, Amb. Yahaya Seriki, Alhaja Iya Lamule(SA Women empowerment to Kwara state Government) Rotimi iliasu(Fmr commissioner for works), Hon. Ibrahim Akaje, Hon. Zubair Aiki Zulu-Gambari (Tic chairman Ilorin South), Mrs Adeyi Kaosarah (SA Youth Engagement to Kwara Governor), Mr Fafoluyi Olayinka (SA new media to Kwara Governor) and Hon. Esinrogunjo amongst others.
The day was wrapped up with iftar organized for everyone by the foundation.
