Nigeria Ambassadors visit lookfamus coaching center talks on career
Nigeria ambassadors for positive change organization visited lookfamus coaching center, to enlighten the students on the path to choose after graduation from secondary School and the challenges they are likely to face.
Amb. Abdusalam Gbolahan leads the talk by introducing the organization to the students as well as formal introduction of other Ambassadors.
Amb. Ibrahim Abdulwasiu, the Director General of the organization addressed the students about different careers.
Amb. Ibrahim Abdulwasiu explain careers as “your work and life role over your lifetime”.
As part of his address, He talked about the criteria on hw to choose a good career, the steps below; know yourself, get a target and plan for the target.
How do you know yourself?
To know yourself you have to question your personality based on some qualities, like:
What do I like doing?
Why did l like this?
What is my interest?
What is my talent?
How can I make myself resourceful?
With these question above you can know yourself better.
Get a target.
After you know Yourself you need to develop a target, make sure you complete an activity per to ensure you are working towards a get in which you develop, he claimed before you can make a decision for yourself you need to have at least a principle for yourself you need to know what you like and what you don’t, we that you can easily get a target.
Plan for the target.
Planning requires some self questions they warrant for self answers, like:
How can I achieve my target?
What can I do in the future!
What college courses is available to suit my target? Your answer to this makes your plan, he said.
The Director General also sited examples of career students can venture into based on their personality, for instance he said, if you are the type that love investigation (Finding reason, trying to answer the question while), then scientist is the best answer to your career choice, or you dressing cooperate and making yourself organized, then Manager, Administrator, Banker are best answer to your career choice, or you love to venture into business, then marketing, clerk and business administration are the best for your career choice.
He also advices the Students to make themselves a triangle during their stays at the Institution, by moving from hostel to school to library for the academic days, he talks of joining extracurricular academic activities as part of ways to self development.

The coordinator and pioneer of the coaching center, Mr Ibrahim Lukman Alagbede appreciate the organization for bringing this Worthy activity to it’s center and he acknowledged the presence of the Ambassadors.
