Kaosara Abdulrasaq and team calls attention of Kwara State police command over the need for the security agency dialogue on different challenges youth are facing in the state

Youth constitutes up to 60% of the total population and as such, their Safety and Security should be the utmost priority of everyone.

Today, Kaosarah Abdulrasaq Adeyi, the Kwara State Representative of the Northern States Governors’ Forum Committee on Youth Engagements, Priorities and Inclusion in Governance and some of her team members were at Police Headquarters, Kwara State Command to have a roundtable discussion with the Public Relations Officer of the Police, Okasanmi Ajayi.

During the meeting, they made known to the Command the need for the security agency to meet with the youth for them to dialogue on the various challenges youth are facing in the state.

Kaosarah also shared an incident that was brought to her notice over the weekend which involved the arrest of innocent youth during the raid by the Police and the need for them to control such practices so as to avoid the incidence that led to the #EndSARS Protest.
