The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has facilitated 1million naira Scholarship to Indigent Students across the five local government areas of Ilorin Emirate Community.
The Scholarship which was presented to the following categories of Students – Polytechnic School fees, College of Education School fees, S.S.C.E, Secondary School fees and Primary School fees, was financed by a Philanthropists; the Consul General of Nigeria to Dubai and Northern Emirate, Hajia Tayyibat Atinuke Olowo Mohammed.
The IEYDA also facilitates the Construction of a Motorized Borehole being sited at Opolo Community, Ilorin South Local Government, towards providing the people of Opolo Community with portable Water. The Borehole Construction is also financed by the Consul General of Nigeria to Dubai and Northern Emirate, Hajia Tayyibat Atinuke Olowo Mohammed.
At the Scholarship presentation on Monday 21st March, 2022, the Parents of the beneficiaries expressed their sincere Appreciation to IEYDA and Hajia Tayyibat Atinuke Olowo Mohammed and pray Allah to continue providing for them in abundance.
AbdulQuadri Zainab, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries promised to show their appreciation through dedication to their studies and coming out in flying colours. She prayed Allah to replenish the pocket of the donor in multiple folds.
On Monday, 21st March, 2022, when the construction process of the Motorized Borehole began, the Alangua of Opolo Community, Alh. Zuluqurnaini AbdulRahman Bodunrin thanked and eulogized Hajia Tayyibat Atinuke Olowo Mohammed for her kind gesture towards the people of Opolo Community, while reiterating the importance of access to drinkable Water for the people of Community at this particular point in time. He pray Allah to reward the Hajia Tayyibat Olowo here on Earth and in the hereafter.
The Alangua of Opolo Community commended the Executives and Members of IEYDA on their developmental strides, and specially appreciated the association for facilitating the Motorized Borehole to Opolo Community. He pray Allah to continue strengthening the association and its members and grant them success in all their endeavours.
