The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Sunday Fagbemi has charged party stakeholders in Ifelodun Local government area of Kwara State to harmonise and work in unison, towards ensuring landslide victory for the party in the September 21st, 2024 local government elections.
Fagbemi made this admonition while inaugurating the local government elections campaign council for Ifelodun local government tagged FEMI/NIKE CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, yesterday in Omupo.
He said “I commend the choice of the Campaign committee members, I am optimistic that with the calibre of this composition, 100% landslide electoral victory is guaranteed in Ifelodun and indeed the entirety of the 16 LGs.
“I enjoin the committee members to work assiduously towards ensuring the unity of the party in Ifelodun. All interest must be aligned, towards ensuring that APC comes out resoundingly successful.
Speaking in the same manner, Chairman Campaign Council Hon. A.G.F Salaudeen, who doubles as member representing Omupo Constituency at the State House of Assembly charged all party members to go back to their various localities, to not only market the plans of our various candidates, but also leverage on the tremendous achievements of the leader of the party, Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, which are more than enough to campaign and win in any electoral contest.
He said “The leader of our party has made our campaigns easy and a walkover in our favour, with his pro-masses activities with laudable landmark achievements dotting the nooks and crannies of the State” he added.
Meanwhile, Hon. Jubril Emilagba, Vice-Chairman, Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State, who doubles as the General Coordinator of Kwarans in Lagos State, who was also inaugurated as the Chairman of the fundraising committee, assured that he and his committee members would unleash their contacts, towards ensuring that logistical challenges never arises throughout the campaign and electioneering period.
The Deputy Governor, Elder Kayode Alabi who doubles as the leader of the party in the local government, enjoined all the candidates to go back and make amends with all those that contested the ticket against them, stressing that the fact that they emerged doesn’t translate to the fact that they were the best, rather it’s because God choosed to favour them.
