Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union(NHQ) held a turbaning ceremony.
Ilorin Emirate is a city of unique and beautiful cultures, among which is the turbaning of the royal officials.
Ilorin Emirate student Union National Headquarters is one of the bodies under Ilorin Emirate, representing all ilorite student schooling home and diaspora also held a turbaning ceremony at the Emir palace Ilorin.
The body is responsible for overseeing the welfare of ilorite students in every tertiary institution across the country and outside.
This ceremony was held in commemoration of the newly Inaugurated National president,sheikh Atunluse and his co-executives, that were elected recently to pilot the affairs of the union for the next coming year.
This beautiful and colorful event was held at Emir’s Palace Ilorin and has in attendance some prominent personalities among which is the Seriki Dongari of ilorin, the Emir’s personal Assistant Alh muritadoh, some royal chiefs, all Emirate local chapters president, and others.
The National President,sheikh Atunluse after being turbaned received Royal blessings from the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari(CFR).
