The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari
has commended the AGF Memorial Football Tournament organizing committee.
The Final Match of the tournament was Played between Harmony Fc and LA Planet SA at the Main bowl, Kwara state Stadium, Ilorin.
A brilliant Goal from AbdulAzeez Ajao in the first half helped the LA Planet SA to become the champion of the Tournament.
While Speaking with Satcommedia crew during the first half of the Game the Emir of Ilorin who was represented by Alh. Alabi Ola Sulaiman (Daudu Faagaba) praised the organizer of the Tournament for their efforts in Promoting Young football talents in the State, Encouraged them to do more in Promoting the face of Sport in Kwara State.
Dr. Muhammad Ghali Ibrahim Alaaya who is the Chairman, Board of trustees, AGF Memorial Football Tournament, Explained that the Tournament which was Organized in honour of the Kwara State Governor’s Father, Late. Alh. Abdulganiyu Folorunsho Abdulrazaq (AGF) is aimed at Selecting talented Players that will represent Nigeria in future.
“According to him, “The late AGF Abdulrazaq is Very wonderful in sport, I Remembered during his lifetime, He kicked ball here in Kwara Stadium, He was a very wonderful player, May Almighty Forgive him.”
“We the BOT of AGF Memorial Football Tournament will make sure from the years ahead We set up More Responsible football competition that will lead to black race in Kwara State.” He Said.
Lastly, The head Coach of LA Planet SA, Mr. Muhammad Paul commend the Organizer of the Competition, Charged them not to Stop in Promoting Sport activities in Kwara State.
