BE GRATEFUL TO GOD, CELEBRATE, REFLECT ON THE TEACHING OF THE HOLY MONTH AND SHARE LOVE WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS.
As we bid farewell to this year’s Ramadan, it’s of high importance to be grateful to God Almighty for His mercy, blessings and safety over us in this trying time and most noticeably for sparing our lives to witness this auspicious moment.
While we glorify the most High, we should try our all not to jettison the lessons of the month of Ramadan by always reflecting on its teaches and by all means put them in practice in our day-to-day activities, remain our brother’s keeper, promote common cause of humanity, and be kind to everyone we come across regardless of the affiliation.
I specifically rejoiced with Muslim faithfuls in Ilorin East Local government and Kwara State as a whole under the able leadership of Mai Martaba, Sheikh, (Dr.) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari upon the completion of (Fasting) the month of Ramadan. The kind gesture of our Emir has long before now became undoubted and this was massively felt again during the Ramadan as our Father led an historical donation which cater for the most vulnerbales across the Emirates and its environs. Only God can reward this great gesture from an able leader worthy of emulation. Seeing the completion of this holy Month indeed calls for celebration, in which we must all share love, happiness and kindness to all our neighbors regardless of their religion affiliation. We should also do away with any conduct that can give birth to hatred, cause mayhem or lead to religion crisis in the society.
On this moment of celebration, I enjoined all citizens of Kwara State to remain steadfastness in this trying time and continue joining hands together for humanity to win the race against the epidemic virus ravaging the world and disrupting the activities, peace and stability of the world by always following preventive measures anounced by NCDC, continue to be of utmost support to the Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman AbulRasaq to continue threading the most prepared and safety path to curtail the spread of the virus in the State. Surely, this time shall pass too.
Undoubtedly, this year Eid-l Fitr is celebrated in in an unpleasant way as we’re to observe our two voluntary rakahs of Eid in our respective home as against the usual way of public Eid praying, I pray Almighty Allah end this soon and heal the world. May He answer all our prayers and accept our Ibadah before, during and after Ramadan, May Allah continue to strengthen our Executive Governor on the journey of reviving Kwara loss glories he has already set sailing unto, a journey to serve the interest of all Kwarans, and may he be successful on the agenda of building Kwara of our dream.
