The growth of an academic institution lies solely on the amount of investment levied on it by the Federal, State and even private sectors. This investment is needed in order to provide easy accessibility of younger generations to education and thereby making knowledge acquisition possible against all odds. Meanwhile, The case of Shubanul Islam LGEA School Oke-Ogun in Ilorin South Local Government Area,Kwara State has been quite alarming due to lack of foresight and unskilled management strategy. Since the inception of the academic institution in the year 2003, it has then suffer unbearable negligence which has constituted an overbearing influence on academic activities in the school. The school is located in the milieu of Oke Ogun Ward, right behind the popular Aisha Adepate House Edun Street,Ilorin.
However, the school was built to meet up the expectations of the populace in the Ward, a considerable amount of those who might not be able to enrol their kids in schools where huge amount of tuition fee is paid. The establishment of the citadel of learning serves as a panacea to drop out,street hawking and child labour which has dominated the society. To them therefore, the renovation will not only provide a lasting solution to pupils truancy but hence it will help to reassure the populace of this Ward that they are not alone.
