A social cultural group in Ilorin, The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Youth association (IEYDA) has revealed its plan to hold a lecture in honour of Engr Kale Kawu ahead of his turbaning ceremony as the Dan Iyan Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate.
Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, National Publicity Secretary of the association disclosed this in a statement released on Tuesday.
According to the statement, The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday 10th March 2022, by 10am at Bovina Multipurpose Hall, in Ilorin, the state capital.
The statement also stated that Prof. Fatai Ayinde Aremu will be delivering a lecture on the topic “* “THE QUINTESSENTIAL EMIRATE, HONORARY RECOGNITION AND ICONS OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: THE UNIQUE CASE OF DAN ‘IYA NGERI II, ENGR. KALE KAWU AGAKA”.
The association however informed the general public that the event is strictly by invitation.
