The Kwara State Government says churches and mosques in the state remain closed despite the ease on the ban placed on worship centres.
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Raji AbdulRazaq, on Tuesday, said the Federal Government hinted on lifting ban on religious activities, and gave modalities to the states on how best to go about it.
It was reported that the Federal Government had on Monday, June 1, lifted the ban on mosques and churches in the country, based on guidelines and protocols agreed with state governments.

But Raji said the state would deliberate and come out with what was best to protect the people.
The commissioner warned that the government had not lifted any ban and no religious house should disregard the directives on social distancing.
