In a bid to Complement the efforts of the Kwara State Government in curbing the Spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic otherwise known as Covid 19, the Director General of the Kwara State Bureau of Land, Lawyer Bolaji Edun in conjunction with Edun Progressive Minded Forum on Saturday facilitated the Fumigation of Mosques within Oke Ogun and Okaka wards of Ilorin South Local Government.
Reacting to the development, the DG Bureau of Land, Kwara State, Lawyer Bolaji Edun Said it is imperative for all and Sundry to adhere strictly to the Measures and guidelines put in place by the Federal and State Governments to arrest the Spread of the Covid 19, noting regular hand washing, Social distancing and Stay at home must be encouraged.
Lawyer Edun Maintained that the Present adminstration under Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq will not relent in it’s determination to make the State free of the dread virus and the palliatives to Cushion the effects of the lockdown would be unpatially distributed.
Responding to the gesture, worshipers in the affected mosques Commended Lawyer Edun for his gesture of facilitating the fumigation exercise, stressing that the disinfecting such areas will aid in taming the Pandemic
