The Barrister Salome Bake Kisira Foundation has announced a cash empowerment program for aged women in Baruteen Local Government, Kwara State. This initiative aims to provide financial support to vulnerable women in the community, supplementing the state government’s efforts to alleviate poverty.
According to a press statement released by the foundation, the empowerment program is designed to make a positive impact in the lives of aged women in Baruteen LG. The program is scheduled to hold on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Emir of Okuta Palace, Baruteen, Kwara State, by 10:00 am.
The foundation, established by Barrister Salome Bake Kisira, is committed to giving back to her community. As the first female Christian lawyer in Baruteen LG and daughter of the late Elder Peter Kisira, former Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Barrister Kisira seeks to continue her father’s legacy of community development.
