Ilorin Emirate Youths Distribute Food Stuff to 350 Less-Privilege, Wishes Muslim Ummah Ramadan Kareem

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin, as part of her Annual Ramadan Programme distributes Food Stuffs to 350 Less-Privileges.

The National President of the Association, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salau made it known while speaking at the programme that the Annual Feed the Needy Programme which is one of the various Annual Ramadan Programme of IEYDA is intended at making the less-privileges across the five local government areas of Ilorin Emirate to have a memorable Ramadan fasting in their various households.

According to the President, the First Phase of the food stuff distribution by IEYDA is at the instance of some Philanthropists. He prayed Allah to continue to provide in abundance for the Philanthropists and reward them beyond comprehension.

The National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo in his own statement advised the well-to-do Individuals to use the occasion of the Holy Month to bring smiles on the faces of less-privilege people around them, in line with the teachings of Ramadan. He added that those philanthropist who wishes to bring relieve to large number of less-privilege across the state can partner IEYDA to get it done without any difficulty.

In his own words, the Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. Raheem Muritala who was part of the food stuff distribution to the less-privileges eulogized IEYDA on the highly rewarding gesture. He specially appreciated the Philanthropists who donated the food stuff. He prayed Allah to continue to enlarge their coasts, reward them on Earth and in the hereafter. He charged other well-to-do Individuals to follow in this direction, and put smiles on the faces of the less-privileges in this Month of forgiveness and abundant blessings.

A beneficiary from Jebba, Moro Local Government Area, Hajia Aishatu Abdulquadri prayed Allah to continue to be with the Executives and Members of IEYDA.

Hajia Nimatallahi Raheem, a beneficiary from Otte, Asa Local Government Area, said the gesture from IEYDA at a time when prices of food commodities is on the high is laudable and should be emulated by well-to-do Individuals, most importantly during the glorious month of Ramadan.

A beneficiary from Baboko, Ilorin West Local Government Area, Hajia Biodun Issa in her own words of appreciation prayed for all the philanthropist partners of IEYDA, asking Allah to continue to increase their means of livelihood and replenish their pockets in multiple folds.

The IEYDA wishes the entire Muslim Ummah Ramadan Kareem, pray Allah to accept and reward all acts of worship, and make us witness more Ramadan on Earth.
