Former Executive Chairman, Kwara Local Government Service Commission, Hajia Sarat Adebayo has declared her intention to run for the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in 2023 under the umbrella of PDP.
The Saraki political structure and the people’s Democratic Party is the only political party that prioritise women interest and political inclusion,i have realised this through my wide consultation, she said.
She further explained that she is here not just as a woman but a woman with capacity, empathy and compassion along withh the spirit to sacrifice for the betterment and benefit of the people.
She added that,as a successful retiree in the civil service and an accomplished public servant who has served at different levels and a staunch follower of the Aaraki political structure under our leader Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, I have the confidence that I will bring to bear my wealth of experiences to bring about effective value to my constituency, our nation and the generation to come.
Lastly, she urge other executive members to support her to achieve her goal.
