Hon. Abdulganiyu S. Cook Olododo, the Honorable member representing Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and the Chairman, House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, has congratulated all the Muslims faithfuls in his constituency and across the country on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Cook Olododo described the just concluded fasting in the month of Ramadan as a blessing from Almighty Allah because it afforded Muslims faithfuls to mantain high level of piety and closeness to their Creator. He noted that during the period of Ramadan fasting, every good deeds attract extra reward in the sight of Almighty Allah and this makes the observers of the fasting as highly favored ones.
Hon. Cook Olododo observed that though this year Ramadan fasting was observed in an usual manner due to Covid -19 pandemic, he however expressed his belief and convinction that the pandemic will soon be over as a result of prayers and supplications offered during the Ramadan period. He advised that all the instructions and measures put in place by government at all levels to curtail the spread of Coronavirus should be dutifully complied with by all and sundry. He charges Muslim faithfuls and people of other faiths to shun all forms of sins and vices that draw God’s anger on mankind.
As this year eid-el-fitri is being celebrated, Hon. Cook Olododo encourages Muslims and people of other faiths to show love to their neighbors and support the government both at the State and Federal levels to move our State and country forward.
