The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Kwara State Axis, has congratulated all muslim brethren, particularly muslim students on the occasion of Eid celebration.
It is pathetic that this year Eid festival is being celebrated at the time that novel Covid-19 pandemic has been waging war against the earth. The leadership of NANS Kwara, however, called, on everyone to be strictly adhere to the precautionary measure by the government and medical officials to curtail the spread of the deadly virus while celebrating the Eid festival.
The outbreak of the Covid-19 in the country, has, without doubt, crippled our educational system. In view of this, we urge our muslim brothers and sisters to take advantage of this festive period to pray to God to heal the world.
The leadership of apex student association in Kwara State charged all and sundry to remain steadfastness and draw from the lessons of Ramadan which teaches unity, solidarity, mercy, compassion, mutual respect and understanding.
At this trying time in the country, there is need for our our political leaders to be passionate about the development of the country, thus, we implore them to sacrifice their parochial interest for the betterment of the people and development of the country. We are confident that there is hope in sight. May God grant our prayer on this holy day of Eid.
