…daily Iftar to commence at Alabi Alasa Centre
Kwarans from various walks of life have extended their appreciation to the Chairman of Awliya Foundation, Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal, for extending his hands of support to them during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The soft-spoken financial expert has approved the release of cash support to serve as a relief fund through his humanitarian organization, Awliya Foundation (In Memory of Mohammed Alabi Lawal).
One of the beneficiaries from Gambari area, Hajia Folorunsho Iyabo, prayed for more blessings for the Chairman, whilst noting that his interventions have been regular and consistent. Others also commended his support and prayed for unending favour for him.
The Chairman said he intends that the cash support fund should serve as a relief to the financial burden on Muslim families during the month of Ramadan, and it is his own way of appreciating God.
The Awliya Foundation team has also announced that daily Iftar will commence this week for indigent families at the Alabi Alasa centre in Idi Ape, in memory of the late Governor of Kwara state, Rear Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal.
