As Muslims around the world begin the holy month of Ramadan, renowned philanthropist Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) has felicitated with the Muslim community, preaching peace, love, and godliness.
In a statement released to mark the beginning of Ramadan, MOK urged Muslims to use the holy month as an opportunity to reflect on their values and actions, and to strive for a deeper connection with Allah.
“Ramadan is a sacred month, a time for spiritual reflection, and a period of renewal and rebirth,” MOK said. “I urge all Muslims to seize this opportunity to re-examine their lives, to seek forgiveness for past wrongs, and to strive for a higher level of piety and righteousness.”
MOK also emphasized the importance of peace, love, and compassion during Ramadan, urging Muslims to extend kindness and generosity to all, regardless of their faith or background.
“Ramadan is a time for building bridges, not walls,” MOK said. “Let us use this holy month to promote peace, understanding, and harmony among all people, and to demonstrate the values of love, compassion, and mercy that are at the heart of our faith.”
As Muslims begin their month-long fast, MOK prayed for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan, and for the guidance and protection of Allah for all believers.
“May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our charity, and may He guide us on the path of righteousness and peace,” MOK said.
