The National Association of Nupe Students (NANUS), Kwara State Chapter, has inaugurated its new executives at a ceremony held at the Rotana Hotel, Fate, Ilorin.
Mallam Abdulkadir Yahya has been inaugurated as the new President of the association. The event, which marked a significant milestone for the association, was attended by dignitaries, students, and other stakeholders.
In his inaugural speech, President Mallam Abdulkadir Yahya pledged to work tirelessly to promote unity, cultural heritage, and academic excellence among Nupe students in Kwara State. He also vowed to address the challenges facing Nupe students and promote their interests.
The new executives were sworn in by a representative of the association’s national body, amidst cheers and applause from the audience.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent personalities, including the Kwara State Commissioner for Youth and other government officials from Kwara State.
The event was filled with entertainment and fun, showcasing the rich Nupe culture. The audience was treated to traditional Nupe music, dance, and drama performances, which added to the excitement and joy of the occasion.
