Kwara State Representatives Inaugurated into Nigerian Youth Parliament, Praise Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Birthday
In a ceremony held today, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, young parliamentarians from across Nigeria’s senatorial districts were inaugurated into the 6th session of the Nigerian Youth Parliament. Among them were Kwara State representatives Hon. Baba Maryam, Hon. Hassan M. Hawal, and Hon. Ojo T. Kayode, representing Kwara North, Central, and South respectively.
To commemorate Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s birthday, the Kwara State representatives expressed their appreciation for his leadership and dedication to youth development, dubbing him the “Youth Developer.” They prayed for God’s continued guidance and strength for the Governor, acknowledging his efforts to empower young people in Kwara State.
The Nigerian Youth Parliament, modeled after the Nigerian Senate, aims to oversee youth activities and promote meaningful youth representation in Nigeria. Governor AbdulRazaq has consistently demonstrated his commitment to youth empowerment, previously hosting Kwara State representatives of the Nigerian Youth Parliament and emphasizing the importance of collaboration in fostering peace, growth, and development in the state.
