The Kwara State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Mrs Joana Nnazua Kolo has rejoiced with Children across the State on the occasion of this year’s Children Day Celebration.
Mrs Joana Kolo in a Statement issued by her Media team, described Children as the potential future Leaders, hence the need for parents and guardians to take care of them in order to achieve greatness and be good ambassadors of the state and the nation at large.
Mrs Kolo who praised the present administration under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for providing an enabling environment for children to showcase their talents, urging them to face their education squarely and encouraged them to learn a skill that can make them productive in the society.
The Commissioner pleaded to the children to shun negative influence from their peers if they must achieve their goals of becoming future leaders.
She prayed unto God to provide for respective parents in order to take good care of their Children.
“I pray to God to heal the world from the scourge ravaging the whole world as it is a trying moment for the humanity”. She added.
