Education Commissioner Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu Monitors WAEC Exams, Urges Students to Shun Malpractice

 

 

Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, embarked on a surprise visit to several schools in the state today to monitor the ongoing West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examination.

The Commissioner visited Government Secondary School (GSS) Shao; Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School Shao; and Government Secondary School, Olooru in the Moro LGA; Unity Secondary School Tsaragi, Edu LGA; and Government Secondary School, Share. She assessed the conduct of the examination and interacted with the students and teachers.

Expressing her satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examination, the Commissioner urged the students to make the most of their time, study diligently, and shun any form of malpractices. She encouraged them to continue working hard and praying for success.

The Commissioner’s visit aimed to ensure a conducive examination environment, assess the preparedness of the students, and provide moral support to the candidates. Her presence boosted the students’ morale, and they expressed gratitude for the government’s support and interest in their academic success.

The WAEC examination is expected to run until next month. The Commissioner’s monitoring visit demonstrates the state government’s commitment to education and its determination to ensure a hitch-free examination process.
