Sons and daughters of Edun community in Ilorin have been admonished to always show love to each other.
An Islamic Scholar, Ustaz Abdulwahab Ajia gave the admonition while delivering lecture at annual Edun Progressive Minded Forum Sallah Program held in Ilorin.
Ustaz Ajia who urged all well to do individuals in the community to be helpful to less previledged, explained that without love there can not be progress.
In his lecture, Ustaz Abdulsalam Zakaki also called on the well to do individuals in the community to learn from people of the past by raising the younger ones as the love that the community was known for is no more there.
In an address, the Chairman of Edun Progressive Minded Forum, Mallam Shuaib Abdulmalik who thanked the dignitaries that graced the event said one of the objectives of the forum was to care for the welfare of it members and ensure development for the community.
