COVID-19: Kaduna, Benue joined list of States in the Confirmed cases as Nigeria hits 97.

As at 10:40 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2020, Nigeria has recorded 97 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, with a total of 16 new cases enrolled.
Out of the 97 confirmed cases, Lagos State tops the list with 59 followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, with 16.
Of the sixteen (16) new cases reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), two are in FCT, seven are in Lagos, one in Kaduna and one in Osun.
Benue State joined the list of states in the country with confirmed cases with one patient while Oyo State increased her number with additional four patients.
“Till date, ninety-seven (97) cases have been confirmed, three cases have been discharged and one death from COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria.
“All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.
“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities,” NCDC stated on its website.
