A foremost businessman and politician, Hon Kamardeen Olayinka Kadiri from Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has donated political souvenirs, funds and logistics to his immediate constituency, comprising of Oro Ward 1 and 2.
According to the Oro born Politician, the donation was to show love to members of his constituency, especially those from his home front.

“I am here today to identify with my people, because they say politics is local. I believe that saying we love one another should not be by mouth alone, we can begin to show it by coming home regularly, sharing prosperity, while wining and dining together.”
Speaking further, Hon. Kamar enjoined members of PDP in both wards to remain united and steadfast as the 2023 election gathers momentum.
however, he promised to always contribute his quota towards having a smooth and enjoyable campaign ahead of the elections.

“Campaign period is always stressful. I want to appeal to us all to remain united. We are in the opposition, we may not be as rich as those in government but our unity and steadfastness will go a long way in giving us the desired victory. As part of the preparation for receiving our Presidential candidate for the North Central Campaign Flag-off, I will make available buses, feeding allowance and other logistics to ease our movement from Oro to Ilorin and back home. “I am also providing branded caps and polos for us to have a unique and befitting outing,” he said.
The Vice Chairman, Oro ward 1, Mr Rafiu Omotayo, while speaking on behalf of his ward, extolled Honourable Kamar’s kind gestures and prayed that PDP will win in all categories of elections in 2023.

He said, “We really appreciate this kind gesture and we also pray God grants our heart desires. We also ask that God grant us victory in 2023 so that people like Hon Kamar can do more for us.”
Also, his counterpart from Oro ward 2, Hon Adebayo Kolawole, who is the Chairman of the ward commended the efforts of Hon. Kamar in an attempt to unite the two wards. “You are new in this party and it is almost looking like you have been with us for long. We appreciate you and love the way you are bringing us together. If we are united, we will achieve more and our lives will be better. Thank you, and we will ensure that all items donated are well managed and effectively distributed.”

Meanwhile, Hon kamar was also at the Campaign office of Kwara PDP, where he made donations to the Campaign Council and the gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi. While making the donations, he said the gesture was borne out of his genuine desire to see PDP win the forthcoming election at all levels.
“Everybody is aware that political campaigns are always very tedious and requires a lot of funding. Therefore, as an individual and a party man, I am making available 2 branded siena cars for campaigns. I am also donating branded caps and polos for rallies. I have done billboards and, here today, are flex banners to welcome our Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the State of Harmony for the North Central Presidential Campaign flag off.”
While accepting the donations, the Director General of Yaman/Makanjuola Campaign Council, Prof Ali Ahmad thanked Hon Kamar for.his generosity and his continued determination to see PDP succeed in 2023.
“We cannot thank you enough for your support financially, morally and politically towards ensuring we win this election. We urge other members to emulate your continued determination so that PDP will prosecute this campaign with so much ease.”
On his part, the gubernatorial candidate of PDP, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi appreciated Hon Kamar for the show of love and support.
According to him, “This is what we preach as a party; love for our people, giving helping hands at all times and stand by what is right. As the election is fast approaching, we are confident that Kwarans know this and will give us their vote come 2023.”
