Yaman bemoans a Legal luminary and KWASU V.C

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial flag bearer, Alh. Shuaibu YAMAN Abdullahi reacted to the death of the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi (SAN), with a very rude shock.

“I received with shock, news of the sudden death of Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi. A distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria and academician per excellent, who was the son of the revered legal icon, Justice Mustapha Akanbi (SAN), whose statuesque status in the legal and academic profession remains a reference point to date”Yaman said.

“His sudden demise from this side of life is a colossal loss to the academic community and legal profession but we take solace in God Almighty to comfort the family and friends of the deceased.”

“Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi (SAN), until his death lived a very good life and distinguished himself in life, through his contributions to national development. His ineffaceable impacts in the nooks and crannies of Ilorin, Kwara state, and Nigeria, at large will forever be remembered, and there is no doubt that he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, as well as many other associates across the world.”

“I commiserate with entire family and associates on the passing of a legal luminary and outstanding administrator, and I pray that Almighty Allah forgives him of all his shortcomings and grants us all the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable and colossal loss.”
