Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Abubakar Saddiq Buhari has called on Kwarans to shun fake news and embrace the truth, based on “proven fact and evidence”.
Buhari made the call today while playing host to Students’ Representatives of the Mass Communications Department of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, in his office.
According to him, “we have a responsibility to curtail the spread of fake news and the best way is for us to keep on disseminating the truth and verifiable facts to the populace.
